Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Fes Airport, meet & greet and transfer to your hotel/riad. Check in and relax. If time permits, enjoy a short walk in the old Medina. Overnight stay in Fes.
Day 2
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day guided tour of Fes. Visit the Royal Palace (outside), the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), the Bou Inania Madrasa, and see the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque (outside). Continue through the Old Medina, visit the famous Chouara Tannery, and explore the traditional souks. Return to the hotel after the tour. Overnight stay in Fes.
Day 3
After breakfast, depart from Fes towards the Merzouga Desert. Stop at Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the cedar forests to see the Barbary monkeys. Continue to Midelt for a lunch break (at your own expense), then drive through the beautiful Ziz Valley and make a short stop in Erfoud. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon, leave your luggage at the hotel, and enjoy a camel trek into the desert to watch the sunset over the dunes. Reach the desert camp, enjoy dinner and Berber music, and stay overnight in the desert camp.
Day 4
Wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by breakfast at the desert camp. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga, collect your luggage, and begin the journey back to Fes. Stop on the way for lunch (at your own expense). Arrive in Fes in the evening and transfer to your hotel.Overnight stay in Fes.
Day 5
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your return flight.
